  8. Preventive Replacement of Components: Some components, like breathers or filters, have a finite lifespan and should be replaced periodically as per manufacturer recommendations.

  9. Internal Inspection and Repairs: In some cases, more invasive inspections involving the opening of the transformer tank may be necessary. This could include checks for core and winding conditions, repairs or replacement of damaged parts, and cleaning. 

  10. Testing: Periodic electrical testing include insulation resistance tests, turns ratio tests, short circuit impedance tests, and other specialized diagnostic tests.
