Vegetable Oil Distribution Transformer
1. Scope of application
Vegetable oil distribution transformer is a static power distribution equipment that uses renewable vegetable oil as the insulating medium. Its working voltage level is below 40.5kV, and its product capacity range is 30~3150kVA. It is suitable for nature reserves with high environmental protection requirements, densely populated areas with high fire and explosion safety requirements, industrial enterprises and commercial plazas with high load rates, areas where overloading occurs frequently.
2. Product standards
GB/T1094.1-5 GB/T1094.7 JB/T10088 GB/T6451
GB/T7595 JB/T3837 GB20052 IEC60076
3. Operation environment
1) Altitude: ≤1000 meters.
2) Ambient temperature: Maximum +40ºC, Minimum -40ºC.
3) Max outdoor wind speed: ≤45m/s.
4) Max Ground ramp degree: ≤3°.
5) Seismic level: ≤3m/s2 at horizontal direction and ≤1.5m/s2 at vertical direction.
6) Installation environment: No obvious and heavy pollution, no explosive and corrosive gas and dust, with good air ventilation and no severe vibration and shock.
7) If the application environment is different from the above standard conditions, please contact for customized designs.
4. Product advantages
1) Retains the reliability, good workmanship, economy and other advantages of traditional transformers.
2) Higher reliability: The ignition point of vegetable oil is as high as 360°C, which is a K-class refractory fuel oil, much higher than the ignition point of mineral oil (150-200°C). It can improve the fire protection performance of the transformer and ensure the safety of the power grid.
3) Longer service life: Compared with mineral oil, it can extend the life of the insulation system to 5 to 8 times and extend the life of the transformer by 33%.
4) Strong overload capacity: The load capacity of vegetable oil transformers is more than 20% higher than that of mineral oil transformers, and the reliability is improved.
5) Better environmental performance: Vegetable oil is renewable, degradable, non-toxic, and harmless to soil and water; at the same time, the transformer can also reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
6) Better electrical performance: The saturated moisture content of vegetable oil is about 20 times that of mineral oil. It has good moisture adsorption properties and can lock the moisture in the transformer in the oil to keep the insulating paper dry, thus improving the insulation performance of the transformer.
7) Lower noise: The noise of vegetable oil transformers is more than 2-4dB lower than that of mineral oil transformers, and about 10dB lower than that of dry-type transformers.
8) The insulation heat resistance grade of vegetable oil transformers is Class B or F, which is higher than the Class A insulation heat resistance grade of mineral oil transformers.
9) Smaller footprint: A vegetable oil transformer with the same capacity occupies 24.99% less area than a conventional transformer.
10) The cost of vegetable oil transformers during the entire life cycle is also significantly lower than that of traditional mineral oil transformers.
