Air Insulated Dry type Transformer / Non-enveloped Dry Type Transformer
1.Scope of application
Air-insulated Dry-type Transformer is a dry type transformer with H-class insulation (temperature resistance 180℃). Its winding is a non-encapsulated coil made of NOMEX insulation material. It has the advantages of reliability, energy saving, fire prevention, explosion prevention, moisture resistance, and simple maintenance, which can be installed in dirty, humid environments near lakes, seasand rivers, and areas with high fire prevention requirements and large loads. It is suitable for high-rise buildings, airports, stations, docks, subways, power plants, metallurgy, densely populated areas, as well as petrochemicals, nuclear power plants, nuclear submarines etc.

3. Operation environment
1) Altitude: ≤1000 meters.
2) Ambient temperature: Maximum +45oC, Minimum -30oC.
3) Relative humidity: ≤90% (+25 oC).
4) Max Ground ramp degree: ≤3°.
5) Seismic level: ≤0.3m/s2 at horizontal direction and ≤0.15m/s2 at vertical direction.
6) Installation environment: No obvious and heavy pollution, no explosive and corrosive gas and dust, with good air ventilation and no severe vibration and shock.

4. Product advantages

2) Environmental protection and energy saving: no-load loss is 10% lower than that of resin-insulated dry-type transformers, and load loss is reduced by 5%. After the service life, the insulation material and copper wire can be easily separated and recycled without polluting the environment.

4) Strong overload capacity: no forced air cooling under 120% long-term overload and IP45 conditions, and can run at full load for a long time.
5) High insulation heat resistance level: H-level insulation system effectively prevents thermal breakdown of insulation materials and has good performance in withstanding thermal shock.
6) Strong short-circuit resistance: Because the NOMEX paper has high mechanical strength and heat resistance that thetransformer has strong shortcircuit resistance.
