Transformer installation safety is crucial to ensure the reliability of power supply systems and protect personnel from potential hazards. Here are 3 types of safety technical requirements for distribution transformers:
Installed on columns
(1) The transformer base should not be less than 2.5m from the ground, and all the iron parts should be grounded.
(2) The height of the exposed conductive part from the ground should be more than 3.5m.
(3) The transformer base should be fixed with the pedestal, and the upper part should be fixed with the pole by the fixture.
(4) Transformer upper and lower leads should be multi-stranded insulated wire. High-voltage drop fuse from the ground should not be less than 4m, high-voltage fuse middle phase and side phase distance should not be less than 0.5m, high-voltage fuse porcelain centerline and the angle between the vertical line 250-300.
(5) Hung warning sign of "No climbing, high-voltage danger!"
Installed on the ground in the open air
(1)The foundation of the floor-mounted transformer should be 0.2m above the ground, such as in waterlogged areas, the transformer should be located around the drainage channel; the transformer is surrounded by a masonry fence, the height of the fence is not less than 1.8m, the door of the fence should be made of fire-resistant materials, and designed on the low-voltage side of the transformer, the door should be open to the outside, and a lock should be installed on the door. Bamboo and wooden fences are not suitable.
(2) Transformer using the table (pier) type installation, its table (pier) height should not be less than 2.5m
(3) Outdoor installation of more than two transformers, the distance between their shells should not be less than 1.25m.
(4) Transformer shells should be properly.
(5) Transformer distance from combustible buildings should not be less than 5m, distance from fire-resistant buildings should not be less than 3m.
(6) Hang warning sign of "Stop, high voltage danger!".
Indoor installation
(1) The room should have good natural ventilation.
(2) Transformer room fire resistance level should be one.
(3) Transformer outline from the back wall, side wall net distance should not be less than 0.6m, from the door net distance should not be less than 0.8m; transformer room doors and windows should be open to the outside, and the doors and windows below the shutters.
