XGW Ring Main Unit (Outdoor Box Type Switching Station)
I. Overview
Ring main unit, also known as outdoor box type switching station, is composed of load switch cabinet or circuit breaker cabinet, primary and secondary electrical components and box. It can also be combined with power PT, distributed power module, DTU, and communication control terminal to realize distribution automation with compact and scalable power distribution equipment, which greatly improves the reliability of the urban power supply and distribution network.
All high-voltage live parts are enclosed in cold-rolled steel plates or stainless steel boxes, which can be freely combined with different modules according to the different needs of users to meet the requirements of different power supply schemes and distribution network automation upgrades. It is suitable for three-phase AC 50Hz, 10~35KV power distribution network as the reception, distribution, transfer and line and equipment protection of electric energy.

1) Altitude: ≤1000 meters.
2) Ambient temperature: Maximum +40ºC, Minimum -25ºC.
3) Relative humidity: ≤90% (+25 ºC).
4) Outdoor wind speed: ≤35m/s
5）Max Ground ramp degree: ≤3°.
6) Seismic level: ≤0.3m/s2 at horizontal direction and ≤0.15m/s2 at vertical direction.
7) Installation environment: No obvious and heavy pollution, no explosive and corrosive gas and dust, with good air ventilation and no severe vibration and shock.

3. Product advantages
1) The busbar, switch and live parts are completely enclosed in the stainless steel gas box, the protection level reaches IP67, and the entire switching device is not affected by the external environment to achieve full insulation and full sealing.
2) It has the functions of full insulation, full sealing, dustproof, corrosion resistance, maintenance-free etc.
3) It has obvious visual disconnection point, and "five-proof" interlock device function that operation is safe and reliable.
4) Expandable: It can adopt single-box type, also can realize multi-channel unit common box by combine various module units freely to meet different customer needs.
5) Intelligent integration: It can be used with the distribution automation terminal (DTU) to realize telemetry, remote signaling, and remote control functions to meet the requirements of distribution network automation upgrade.
6) The box material has a variety of options such as cold-rolled steel plate and stainless steel, and the material thickness is 2mm, and the box protection level reaches IP43.
