Low-Voltage Switchgear
1. Scope of application
GCS low-voltage withdrawable switchgear is suitable for three phase four wires and five wires power systems with AC 50/60Hz, rated voltage of 380V (400V) and rated current of 4000A and below. It is widely used as power distribution, conversion, control and reactive power compensation for power plants, substations, petrochemical departments, industrial and mining enterprises, building hotels, airports, docks, metallurgy, textiles, high-rise buildings and other power users, which includes the functions of power center (PC) and motor control center (MCC), and the protection level reaches IP30.
2. Operation environment
1) Altitude: ≤2000 meters.
2) Ambient temperature: Maximum +45ºC, Minimum -15ºC.
3) Relative humidity: ≤90% (+25 ºC).
4) Max Ground ramp degree: ≤3°.
5) Seismic level: ≤0.3m/s2 at horizontal direction and ≤0.15m/s2 at vertical direction.
6) Installation environment: No obvious and heavy pollution, no explosive and corrosive gas and dust, with good air ventilation and no severe vibration and shock.

3. Product features
1) The compartment of the switch cabinet can be divided into functional unit room, bus room and cable room, and the functional role is relatively independent. Areas are strictly separated with continuously grounded metal plate or flame-retardant plastic plate to ensure safety and prevent the spread of accidents.
2) All structural parts in the switch cabinet are galvanized and passivated, with strong structural versatility and flexible assembly.
3) The switch cabinet drawer has positions of connection, test, disconnection, withdrawal and isolation. Every drawer and switch is equipped with a mechanical interlocking device that the drawer can be withdrawn and inserted if the switch is in the broken state, but cannot if the switch is in the closed state. To prevent unauthorized operation, the operating mechanism handle can lock the switch in the breaking position with a padlock.
4) Same specification functional unit drawers can be easily interchanged, and each drawer corresponds to a maximum of 36 pairs of auxiliary contacts, which can meet the needs of remote operation control, electricity metering and automatic monitoring system of computer interface.
5) The horizontal main bus adopts flat arrangement mode behind the cabinet to enhance electric power resist ability, which is the basic measure to make the main circuit of the device have the ability of high short-circuit strength. The vertical bus is assembled in an insulating functional board, which can prevent the inter-phase discharge of the vertical bus bar caused by the switching arc, and improve the electric shock protection ability and safe operation rate of the product. The cable compartment design makes the cables’ in and out very convenient.
